My name is Amanda Bertsch (she/her), I am a Reiki Practitioner with Apothic Energy.
I trained with and continue to work with Sarah Marie Livings. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, lived for awhile in Phoenix, AZ, and have found myself creating a long-term home here in OR. I have an AA in Psych, BS in Human Services, and an MS in Edu with specialization in SpEd. I have learned many techniques for behavior management, crisis intervention, trauma informed care, and collaborative problem solving. I also have a creative side. I am a photographer. I like to make my own fun shirts, especially for my favorite soccer teams (PTFC) as well as tumblers and other things. I also paint, like to listen to music very loudly, go on any spontaneous adventure, and spend time by water (primarily the ocean). As a child I always felt very connected to the earth, animals and the energy around me. At a young age I felt compelled to help others and believed it was what I was meant to do. I am excited to begin helping others through the art of energy medicine. I look forward to the beautiful work we will do together. |

My name is Beth Gaines. I grew up in the West Valley, went to Oregon State University, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I spent time working in juvenile justice and social services and really enjoyed the opportunity to help people. I try to meet people where they're at and support them in getting where they want to go. I began training as a Reiki healer with Apothic Energy and continue to be mentored by and train with Sarah Marie Livings.
My family has a small homestead with goats, chickens, ducks, and a garden. The ultimate goal is to be completely self-sufficient. My husband is a disabled veteran, and I am a mom, a stepmom, and a mom-in-law. I enjoy needle felting, spinning yarn, painting rocks, cross stitch, and cooking. I love learning new skills and passing that knowledge on. |
